Check your PC before purchasing
Soundroom Creator 0.3.0.18 — Full Windows x64 download Download size: 21,842,413,282 bytes (about 20.34 GiB). Save Setup and all 11 numbered BIN parts in one folder. The matching Source-and-Notices ZIP is a separate companion. Installed components need additional disk space; Setup checks the selected components. Download Setup, every numbered BIN part and the matching Source-and-Notices companion from your authorized purchase. Keep Setup and all BIN parts together in one folder. Do not run the app from an incomplete copy or inside an archive. Check that Windows reports a valid PLAITE TECHNOLOGIES LLC digital signature on Setup. Keep Windows security enabled. If the signature is invalid or Windows blocks the file, stop and contact support with the exact message. Save your current session and quit Soundroom before running Setup. Choose an independent application folder, separate from your music, saved projects and BRAiN. This candidate supports fresh installations only. If it finds an existing app, Setup stops rather than upgrading, repairing or replacing it. Keep that app and its backup; contact support for replacement instructions. Choose the components you need. The core includes the mixer, recording, Pads, library/project tools, sound identification, English dictation and Standard/Instruments Stem Lab. Local music generation and experimental Strings are optional Full-package components. After installation, use the Soundroom Creator shortcut to open its app window. This Windows x64 candidate requires Windows 11. Mixing audio and running local AI models have different requirements. CPU new-music generation needs 26 GiB available RAM; CPU reference generation and experimental Strings need 18 GiB available RAM. These are available-memory figures, not total installed memory. A 16 GB PC cannot meet those CPU generation requirements. NVIDIA acceleration requires compatible NVIDIA hardware, a qualified driver/runtime and enough available GPU memory. Integrated AMD or Intel graphics do not provide CUDA acceleration. Use only the engine and delivery profile supplied for your hardware. CPU generation remains experimental. Generation accepts 10–120 seconds; performance varies with the job and PC. Experimental Strings is limited to 1–30 seconds and two CPU threads, with its 18 GiB memory guard, offline assets and integrity checks. It can change detail and timing. It is an extraction tool, not a guarantee of perfect stems or strings removal. Windows Soundroom does not require Tailscale. Optional Android browser access currently needs your own separate Tailscale installation and account on both the PC and tablet. Joining the same Wi-Fi alone does not enable pairing. Tailscale has its own terms, plans and privacy policy; it is not installed by Soundroom, and no free business plan is promised. After setting up that private connection, open Pair tablet in Soundroom, start the private link and follow the app's address and pairing-code instructions. Keep the PC awake. Audio plays on the performing device; this is not a separate native Android app. Revoke tablet access or stop its private link in Pair tablet when you finish. Do not share pairing codes or private/admin links.
License and updates
SOUNDROOM CREATOR - DIRECT LICENSE AND COMPONENT RIGHTS
Direct Windows license · Version 2026-10-26. Applies when accepted for the release identified in your purchase; required component rights take priority.
SOUNDROOM CREATOR — CUSTOMER LICENSE
Direct-sale terms prepared October 26, 2026
PLAiTE Technologies LLC. Your purchase confirmation identifies the release and accepted terms.
1. What you are purchasing
PLAiTE Technologies LLC ("PLAiTE", "we") licenses its proprietary Soundroom
Creator software to the purchaser ("you"). The base price is US$79 before
any applicable tax. Your order confirmation identifies the purchased release.
A free PLAiTE Pass account is required for purchase and account downloads. Your purchase is associated with the verified Pass account used at checkout. The two-PC limit is the license policy; it is not a claim that automated device activation is implemented. Local audio and saved projects are not uploaded by creating a Pass account.
The open-source and vendor components described below retain their own licenses.
One license covers one named person using up to two Windows PCs that person
owns or controls. A business may buy a license for an assigned individual;
different people need separate licenses for PLAiTE's proprietary application.
You may move to a replacement PC after removing the proprietary application
from a previous PC so that no more than two PCs remain licensed. Keep backups.
A paired tablet used by the same person to access those PCs does not consume
another PC seat. Pairing does not grant a separate native Android/iOS license.
Optional Android access currently requires your own separate Tailscale
installations/account and private connection on both the Windows PC and tablet.
A compatible device, network and applicable third-party account/plan are separate
requirements; no free third-party business plan is promised. Tailscale is a
third-party service, not built-in Wi-Fi-only pairing. The Windows app can be
used without tablet pairing. See the supplied tablet setup and privacy guidance.
These seat limits do not restrict components whose own licenses grant broader
rights. They are a contractual policy, not a claim that activation or automated
seat enforcement is currently implemented.
Your license allows personal and commercial music work and permanent use of
the purchased version and updates supplied to you under section 2, subject to
this agreement. There is no subscription requirement for those local features.
Hardware compatibility, operating-system support and service availability can
change; permanent use is not a promise of support on every future system.
The purchased feature set includes the mixer, pads, recording, library and
project tools, the included Noir and Polar Ice themes, dictation, sound
identification, Stem Lab modes and generation engines included in your selected
package. Component installation is optional where indicated. Availability and
speed depend on documented hardware, engine qualification and permissions.
Experimental Strings is limited to 1–30 seconds, two CPU threads and 18 GiB
available RAM. It can change musical detail and timing and does not promise
perfect studio-stem recovery. CPU generation is experimental.
2. Updates, support and optional extras
The purchase includes updates we make available for your edition
during the first 12 months from purchase. You may continue using those versions
after that period without renewing. This is not a promise of every future
major edition, a release schedule, lifetime development or a guaranteed response
time. We will publish supported versions and security/update instructions.
Contact support@plaitearena.com for installation problems and license help.
Back up your music/projects and close Soundroom before an update.
Studio Club is a separate US$39/year optional subscription for extra
palettes and seasonal/evolving appearances. It is not included in this license.
Purchase remains unavailable until its renewal, cancellation and entitlement
service is enabled and separately disclosed. Noir and Polar Ice and all included local music features
remain available without Club. A preference switch is not a purchase or a verified entitlement.
No Club enrollment, renewal or payment is created by installing the app or
accepting this license. Any future membership needs its own clearly disclosed
offer, renewal/cancellation terms and affirmative checkout consent.
Optional hosted generation, when offered through PLAiTE Pass, is a separate service. The app purchase does not
include unlimited cloud generation or a guaranteed quantity of credits. No
cloud charge, subscription or upload is authorized by this agreement. Any
future cloud option must disclose its provider, price, data handling and job
terms before you choose to use it. Local generation does not require cloud
generation credits. No separate service is activated by this local-app license.
3. Your audio, projects and outputs
You retain whatever rights you have in your inputs, recordings, projects and
outputs. PLAiTE claims no ownership of them through this license and receives
no permission here to sell them or use them to train models. Soundroom's local
engines process files using the independent data folder you select. This license
does not grant permission to import, change or delete files from another
application merely because you installed Soundroom.
You may use, edit, export, publish and commercially exploit your audio outputs
to the extent your input rights, applicable law and any relevant model/content
terms permit. No per-output royalty is owed to PLAiTE merely for using local
Soundroom tools. You are responsible for permission to record, sample, upload,
separate or distribute other people's audio and for any required clearances.
AI output may resemble other work, may lack copyright protection or exclusivity,
and may contain mistakes. We do not guarantee ownership, non-infringement,
clearance, uniqueness or a right to impersonate a person or artist.
4. PLAiTE application and branding
Except as permitted by section 5 or mandatory law, you may not redistribute,
resell, sublicense, rent or offer PLAiTE's proprietary application to other
users, remove its ownership notices, bypass its access protections, or reverse
engineer it. You may share your audio exports and projects without sharing the
application itself. Third-party rights are never reduced by this paragraph.
No PLAiTE or vendor trademark license or endorsement is granted. Descriptive
references required for attribution do not imply endorsement.
5. Separate licenses and source rights — these take priority
Open-source software, models and vendor runtimes are licensed by their owners
under the accompanying terms. Read THIRD-PARTY-RIGHTS.txt, VENDOR-RUNTIME-TERMS-
DRAFT.txt and the original notices/source materials supplied with your release.
Where this agreement conflicts with rights under a component's own license,
that component's license controls for that component. Our seat, transfer,
copying, modification, reverse-engineering and termination restrictions do not
override GPL, LGPL, MIT, Apache, BSD or other applicable third-party permissions.
We do not claim that the entire app or all models share one license.
In particular, GPL-covered components may be used, studied, modified and
redistributed under the GPL without a PLAiTE seat fee or additional restriction.
Source access is not conditional on buying Club or maintaining a subscription.
For LGPL components, you may modify them, replace/relink the relevant shared
libraries with interface-compatible versions, and reverse engineer the combined
work as needed to debug those modifications. Keep the supplied build/source
materials and each original license. Replacement must not require a private
PLAiTE signing key. OS security requirements still apply; these terms do not
instruct you to disable them or promise that any replacement is compatible.
PLAiTE-owned contributions in only the four files listed in the supplied
approved MIT scope retain that MIT grant. Other application/UI/branding files
are not relicensed merely because they are delivered alongside those files.
An end-user agreement does not cure an unresolved distributor license conflict.
6. Base-app refund policy
Request a full refund of the base app purchase within 14 calendar days of
purchase by emailing support@plaitearena.com with your order reference and
purchase email. Do not send payment-card details or identity documents. This
policy is independent of, and does not reduce, mandatory consumer remedies.
After a refund, stop using and remove the proprietary application covered by
that purchase; statutory rights and separately licensed open-source rights are
unaffected. Memberships, future credits and third-party purchases require their
own disclosed policies. They are not automatically included in this policy.
7. Warranties, liability and ending the proprietary license
To the extent permitted by law, the software and experimental features are
provided as available and "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability,
fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not promise that
operation will be uninterrupted or error-free. Preserve backups of your work.
This does not remove an express promise in your purchase or any non-excludable
warranty, statutory guarantee, refund right or consumer protection.
To the extent permitted by law, PLAiTE's total liability arising from this
license is limited to the amount paid for the base app, and excludes indirect
or consequential loss, lost profits and lost data. These limits do not apply
where prohibited, including non-excludable liability, fraud, deliberate
misconduct, or death/personal injury for which liability cannot lawfully be
limited. Vendor components retain their own warranty/liability provisions.
We may terminate the proprietary license for a material breach if you do not
fix it within 30 days after written notice, where a cure is possible. You may
end it by removing PLAiTE's proprietary app. Termination does not give us a
right to erase your audio/projects or revoke independent third-party rights.
Terms necessary to protect ownership and address past claims survive.
8. General
Comply with applicable law, including export restrictions for included runtimes.
PLAiTE is responsible for product support; Microsoft, Intel, NVIDIA and other
contributors have not endorsed Soundroom or promised support to its customers.
If a provision is unenforceable, it is limited to the extent necessary and the
rest remains effective. A change to the license for a future version does not
silently replace the terms for your already licensed version. Mandatory local
consumer law and access to remedies remain intact. Contact:

RELEASE SCOPE: This direct-sale license preserves the named-user/two-PC policy.
Current component/source/vendor terms are documented with these build inputs.
Actual delivery must use the correct channel, hardware conditions, source and
notice files, final signed version and customer acceptance/checkout. Written
review is not vendor endorsement, independent legal advice or retail approval.
The applicable price, release, requirements and accepted terms are recorded in your purchase.
SOUNDROOM CREATOR - THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS AND SOURCE ACCESS
Private native Full next-build inputs - revised October 21, 2026
This notice describes this candidate, superseding earlier Comfy-specific
descriptions. It is not a retail approval or a published customer offer.
Original component licenses control. PLAiTE's proprietary application license,
two-PC policy and proposed Studio Club do not narrow third-party permissions.
NATIVE GENERATION
This candidate uses the delivered ACE-Step 1.5 source under its MIT license,
revision ca1e85fe9430179831e6bc6be790c332190a3866. The model bundle is pinned to
19671f406d603126926c1b7e2adc169acbcade22. Its original card, copyright/license
texts and Apache-2.0 checkpoint-code headers are retained. Qwen attribution and
the original CLAP, Whisper, Demucs and Base model notices remain applicable.
Model weights, inference implementation and audio rights are different subjects.
Model-card claims are attributed to their authors, not independently guaranteed.
There is no Comfy generation engine, comfy-aimdo or Detours helper installed
as executable generation code in this candidate. Earlier source/notice records
may mention them; the current package index identifies what is actually shipped.
Removing that engine does not clear every remaining vendor or audio-library term.
The current source and notices are at:
licenses/soundroom/notices/index.json
licenses/soundroom/sources/Soundroom-engine-source-materials.zip
licenses/native-0308/ACE-Step-SOURCE-MIT.txt
licenses/native-0308/Apache-2.0.txt
licenses/native-0308/native-provenance.json
The source ZIP includes the delivered native/Base Python source, checkpoint
code/configuration, dependency locks and retained reciprocal-library source.
Its SOURCE-STATUS.json distinguishes current inputs from conservative extra
dependency source materials. Models and user audio/projects are excluded.
PLAiTE's earlier four-file MIT approval remains limited to its recorded scope
and versions. It is not a new blanket grant over the mixer, UI or new native
generation bridge. No additional PLAiTE source license is granted by this notice.
AUDIO AND OTHER RECIPROCAL COMPONENTS
The separate LGPL FFmpeg/PyAV materials remain at:
licenses/ffmpeg/FFmpeg-source-materials.zip
with their notices, configuration and rebuild records. libsndfile, frozendict,
mpg123 and codec dependencies retain their own licenses and source materials.
GPL/LGPL text retained with an LGPL component does not mean Comfy is required.
Users retain applicable modification, replacement/relinking and debugging rights.
These acts must not require PLAiTE's private signing key or a Studio Club fee.
The final signed build must be tested against those rights as well as Windows.
VENDOR RUNTIMES AND DELIVERY
Microsoft CRT, NVIDIA CUDA/cuDNN/CUPTI and Intel-origin libraries have separate
terms where applicable. Read VENDOR-RUNTIME-TERMS-DRAFT.txt and original texts.
All nine current Intel OpenMP copies match the identified official Intel
NuGet redistributable packages; their original license and complete referenced
notices are supplied in licenses/intel-redist-20261021. All 24 reviewed NVIDIA
paths have exact identified sources: 23 vendor redist archive matches and one
legacy NVTX match to the archive named by the official PyTorch build revision.
See licenses/runtime-review-20261021/NVTX-PROVENANCE.json and NVTX-NOTICE.txt.
The legacy DLL retains proprietary SDK terms; modern NVTX 3 header MIT terms
are not silently applied to it. Complete original CUDA/cuDNN/CUPTI terms are
supplied in licenses/vendor-closeout-20261021.
PLAiTE's authorized representative separately approved the exact retained free
NVIDIA/Intel runtime agreements for covered local Windows builds and permitted
redistribution on October 21, 2026. No vendor endorsement, file-specific support
approval email or retroactive change to earlier acquisition terms is claimed.
The SDK's NVIDIA GPU scope and all distribution conditions still apply. Source
matching alone is not whole-product clearance. Preparing this notice itself
does not accept another agreement or activate a customer contract.
Supply matching source/notices with the exact future binary download without
an additional fee or subscription gate; keep the required source availability.
An upstream homepage alone is not a substitute for required corresponding source.
Do not publish a missing-source promise. Contact support@plaitearena.com with the
release number for source or notices. This notice grants no rights to input
recordings, makes no vendor endorsement and does not impose GPL terms on audio
outputs merely because a GPL/LGPL component is used.
CURRENT DELIVERY PROFILE ADDENDUM — OCTOBER 21, 2026
The selected current notice index and source ZIP cover the separate CPU generation
runtime in addition to the applicable original runtimes. The CPU-only profile
does not deliver the NVIDIA generation runtime or the one identified CTranslate2
cuDNN helper. CPU+GPU retains the original core and NVIDIA bytes and their vendor
conditions. No model, mixer, recording, Pads, tablet, theme or Stem Lab feature has
been removed. CPU processing has different hardware/performance requirements;
it is not a promise of generation on any Windows PC. Required source/notices are
supplied with the binary without an extra purchase. See licenses/release-20261021.
No new contract, source-license grant, billing or retail approval is created here.
DELIVERY PROFILE CLARIFICATION — PRIVATE DRAFT, OCTOBER 21, 2026
The CPU-only generation profile uses the independent generation-cpu-runtime
and does not deliver the NVIDIA generation-runtime. NVIDIA runtime-specific
conditions below apply when the NVIDIA engine is provided. The CPU+GPU
delivery still includes NVIDIA binaries even when a user selects CPU; it
must remain within the documented NVIDIA hardware and distribution scope.
CPU-only does not waive Intel, PyTorch, TorchAudio, FFmpeg/PyAV or other
applicable notices, supplier rights or source/replacement obligations.
Original supplier agreements are unchanged. The CPU TorchAudio BSD notice
and exact acquisition/provenance are in licenses/cpu-generation-20261021.
SOUNDROOM CREATOR — PROPOSED VENDOR RUNTIME SCHEDULE
Draft revised October 21, 2026 • remaining file/release gates apply
Scope and priority
This schedule concerns only separately licensed vendor runtime binaries. It
does not restrict GPL/LGPL or other open-source components, customer audio or
the approved four-file MIT grant. Original component terms control in a
conflict. Mandatory legal rights remain intact. A publisher must establish its
own distribution rights; a customer promise cannot supply missing permission.
Microsoft Visual C++ runtime
Unmodified app-local runtime files are supplied solely as part of Soundroom for
use with Soundroom on Windows. Keep Microsoft ownership notices. Do not sell,
rent, sublicense or redistribute these runtime files as a standalone product,
or modify, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble them except where
applicable law expressly permits. Do not subject Microsoft's proprietary
Distributable Code to a license requiring its source disclosure or modification
rights. Separately licensed open-source components are unaffected.
No license to the Visual Studio IDE or Microsoft trademarks is granted.
Microsoft and its suppliers supply these files "as is", without express
warranties, guarantees or conditions; to the extent permitted by local law,
implied warranties of merchantability, fitness and non-infringement are
excluded. To the extent permitted by law, recovery from Microsoft/suppliers is
limited to direct damages up to US$5, with no consequential, lost-profit,
special, indirect or incidental damages. Mandatory statutory rights prevail.
PLAiTE supplies product support. Customers do not need to purchase Visual Studio.
Distributor record: PLAiTE's previously approved VS Community 2026 license and
private download-only acquisition of the matching production x64 CRT are kept
as release evidence. That license imposes distribution obligations, including
PLAiTE's own Microsoft indemnity; those obligations are not shifted onto the
customer by this schedule. No IDE or shared-runtime installation is required.
NVIDIA runtime portions — revised draft for these build inputs
Use the separately licensed NVIDIA runtime portions as incorporated into
Soundroom and for access by Soundroom, within their SDK-specific NVIDIA-GPU
scope and original terms. Preserve vendor ownership and notices. Do not sell
or distribute the SDK as a standalone product, remove notices, bypass its
security mechanisms or modify/reverse-engineer/decompile/disassemble vendor
portions contrary to their terms or mandatory law. No NVIDIA endorsement,
trademark or codec-patent clearance is granted by PLAiTE.
Do not impose an open-source source-disclosure/derivative-work obligation on
NVIDIA's proprietary SDK portions. Independent open-source portions retain
their own terms and modification/debugging rights; this schedule does not
override GPL/LGPL rights, customer audio ownership or the PLAiTE MIT grant.
The full original agreements retain warranty, liability, export, termination
and other provisions. PLAiTE provides Soundroom product support; no extra
vendor support or warranty is promised.
The current source map identifies 23 exact NVIDIA redist archive matches and
the unchanged legacy NVTX file, now matched exactly to the archive named by the
official PyTorch build revision. CUDA Toolkit Attachment A expressly identifies
the Tools Extension family and architecture/version filename variations. Its
original proprietary notice is supplied; no modern header MIT license is applied.
See licenses/vendor-closeout-20261021/NVIDIA-CURRENT-SOURCE-MAP.json and its
NOTICE-SCOPE.txt. Source matching is not a vendor's product approval. Company acceptance
is recorded separately; compliance with all applicable publisher/customer
obligations and the remaining file/release decisions remain necessary. A customer clause cannot manufacture missing permission.
No distribution of the three omitted optional helpers or an NVTX substitute
is authorized by this draft. Full original CUDA/cuDNN licenses and the CUPTI
companion legal text accompany these inputs.
Intel OpenMP runtime portions — revised draft for these build inputs
The nine OpenMP DLL paths identified in licenses/intel-redist-20261021/
PROVENANCE.json are supplied from the listed official Intel NuGet packages.
They match the prior verified Full candidate exactly. Their retained October
2022 Intel Simplified Software License permits unmodified binary use and
redistribution subject to its conditions; it does not require a separate
case-specific support email to state that grant.
Preserve the supplied copyright, license and third-party notices. Do not use
Intel or supplier names to imply endorsement. Intel's restrictions concerning
modification and reverse engineering apply only to the proprietary Software
they actually cover, subject to mandatory law and separately licensed portions.
The original license also retains its warranty, liability, support, termination,
export and other conditions. No additional Intel patent or trademark rights
are represented here. PLAiTE provides Soundroom product support.
Open-source portions retain their own terms and rights. These vendor terms do
not restrict independent GPL/LGPL components, customer audio, project files,
the approved four-file MIT grant or customer rights granted by those licenses.
The complete referenced oneTBB notice is retained. See the new
INTEL-NOTICE-DECISION.txt for the closed notice-material question and the
unchanged, explicitly unknown internal build detail.
PLAiTE's authorized representative approved the identified NVIDIA and Intel
runtime agreements on October 21, 2026 for covered local Windows builds and
permitted redistribution. The legacy NVTX source/designation basis is now
documented separately. That is not vendor endorsement, unrestricted permission
for non-NVIDIA systems or authorization to publish.
This draft applies to the identified new NuGet-sourced build inputs. Earlier
PyPI/Developer Tools EULA records are historical acquisition evidence, not
retroactively changed contracts. A package file license is evidence for the
covered files, not blanket approval of every dependency or Soundroom's retail
distribution. NVIDIA, other component/customer compatibility and final
packaged-delivery obligations remain separate release gates.
The separate company acceptance record binds only the supplied agreements
and scope actually approved. Preparing this customer draft does not publish
it, change customer pricing/rights, execute an installer or update an existing
app. Original component terms and mandatory rights control.
Refund policy
Request a full refund of the base app purchase within 14 calendar days of purchase by emailing support@plaitearena.com with your order reference and purchase email. Do not send payment-card details or identity documents. This policy is independent of, and does not reduce, mandatory consumer remedies. After a refund, stop using and remove the proprietary application covered by that purchase; statutory rights and separately licensed open-source rights are unaffected. Memberships, future credits and third-party purchases require their own disclosed policies. They are not automatically included in this policy.
Privacy and local processing
SOUNDROOM CREATOR - PRIVACY NOTICE Version 2026-10-26 · Direct Windows edition ABOUT THIS NOTICE Soundroom Creator is published by PLAiTE Technologies LLC. This notice describes the standalone Windows app and its optional private tablet companion, not FormHaven, PLAiTE Pass or an SMS service. Contact support@plaitearena.com about privacy or support. Notice version 2026-10-26 for the direct Windows edition. Your purchase and use identify the applicable release. YOUR LOCAL WORKSPACE Soundroom processes imported audio, recordings, clip arrangements, saved sessions, library names and collections, generation descriptions and lyrics, audio references, model results and preferences to provide the features you choose. These items may contain voices or other personal information. Selected audio is imported as an independent library copy; the app does not automatically import BRAiN or another Soundroom workspace. Saved content and local job/cache/log files use the independent workspace shown in Settings. This direct candidate's default is %USERPROFILE%\PLAiTE Soundroom Creator. The Store edition has a different workspace; neither is imported automatically. Your browser also keeps per-workspace drafts, microphone choices and local session information in its own storage. Files you export or download can be saved elsewhere. A cloud-synced folder, backup service or browser/Windows service can create additional copies under its own settings. OPTIONAL PASS CONNECTION AND PAID APPEARANCES When you connect a Pass in Soundroom, the app sends a product-specific hash of a Windows device identifier, the short-lived activation code and later a scoped device credential to the fixed PLAiTE HTTPS license endpoint. The raw Windows identifier is never transmitted by activation. PLAiTE associates credential/code hashes, the pseudonymous PC identifier and connection times with your original verified Pass, purchase and any separately purchased Studio Club term. This process does not upload audio, recordings, projects or prompts. Connection codes expire after ten minutes. The app stores its credential and signed access in Windows per-user encrypted storage inside this workspace. Disconnect a PC in your Pass to stop future access refreshes. A previously verified offline base license can remain usable until it reconnects. Studio Club appearance claims expire within seven days or at the paid-term end, whichever comes first. Purchase, billing and necessary connection history may be retained for operation, security, support, disputes and accounting. See PLAiTE privacy information for the website and payment services. RECORDING, DICTATION AND LOCAL AI Microphone recording and dictation begin when you use their controls and grant the relevant browser/Windows permission. Windows-output capture records the selected PC output, which can include other apps and notifications. Obtain any permissions needed to record other people or copyrighted audio. The included generation, sound-identification, Whisper dictation and Stem Lab models are configured for local offline inference. Soundroom does not need to send this content to PLAiTE or a cloud-generation provider to run those local jobs. The dictation worker handles its short WAV request in memory instead of saving a separate utterance recording; text inserted into a field can subsequently be retained in a draft, prompt or saved project. This is different from an ordinary microphone take, which you may save as audio. This reviewed build has no PLAiTE advertising/usage-analytics service or automatic support-upload service configured. It does not offer a music-upload-for-training service. Cloud generation, paid credits, Studio Club billing and community voting are not activated by installing this build. OPTIONAL TABLET CONNECTION: SEPARATE SETUP REQUIRED Soundroom on Windows does not require Tailscale. The optional Pair tablet feature in this version does require Tailscale, a separate private-network app, installed and connected on your PC and Android tablet under your own account. Soundroom does not include a Tailscale installation or create that account for you. You can skip tablet setup and use Soundroom on the PC. If you choose tablet access, a browser on your tablet connects to the selected PC workspace over that private connection. Audio, workspace information, edits, uploaded files and dictation requests can travel between your devices; the installed AI engines stay on the PC. Audio playback and browser recording occur on the device you are using. The tablet is not a mirror of the PC speakers. The app uses the PC's Tailscale owner identity, a pairing code, a short-lived session cookie and an editing-tab lease. It stores connection/control information locally and keeps pairing/session state in the running companion. The paired tablet can load workspace audio and make permitted edits, so pair only a device you control. Tailscale is a separate provider with its own account, terms, plans and privacy policy. It describes end-to-end encrypted device traffic, including encrypted relay traffic, while collecting service/account/device and connection metadata. Its processing is relevant when you choose to use that service. This version has no built-in Wi-Fi-only pairing or standalone Android app; being on the same Wi-Fi alone does not enable Pair tablet. WHAT REMAINS AND HOW TO REMOVE IT Saved audio, projects and preferences remain until you remove them. Generation descriptions, lyrics, reference copies, job records, outputs and diagnostic files can remain in the workspace after completion or cancellation. A bounded recent-jobs list is not an automatic deletion schedule. Library Trash hides a sound and supports restoration; it does not securely erase the audio and can preserve playback in saved sessions. Discard temporary previews removes those stem-preview files but keeps selected stems already saved in the library, source files and job/provenance records. Clearing a recording preview is not the same as removing its saved take. You control your local workspace and exports. Back up what you want to keep, save and quit Soundroom, and identify the exact workspace before removing local data. Browser site data, tablet downloads, external exports, backups and synced copies are separate. Uninstalling an application is not a complete privacy wipe or a backup. PLAiTE cannot remotely recover or erase your local workspace for you. SUPPORT AND MICROSOFT STORE If you contact support, we receive your email address, message and any files you choose to provide. We use that information to answer the request, diagnose the issue, handle purchase questions and meet applicable legal obligations. Share a small synthetic example when possible. Review logs and screenshots: they can contain file paths, names, prompts or device information. Do not send passwords, API keys, pairing codes, launch links, the control folder, identity documents or payment-card details. We retain support information for the purposes above and necessary follow-up/legal records, not to sell your music or train models. You can ask us to access, correct or delete information we hold, subject to applicable law and necessary retention. Our business email/service providers may process correspondence to deliver support. For the Store edition, Microsoft manages the free Store download, package delivery, updates and platform diagnostics under its own terms and privacy practices. The required Soundroom license and optional services are purchased from PLAiTE Technologies LLC through verified PLAiTE Pass/Pay using Stripe, rather than billed by Microsoft. Microsoft may make product sales, reliability or usage reports available to the publisher; those reports are different from Soundroom uploading your audio. Soundroom has no payment-card collection form. Platform/browser/Tailscale processing and websites you explicitly open are governed by those providers' policies. SECURITY AND FUTURE CHANGES The app uses a protected local host and its own workspace, with an optional authenticated private tablet connection. Soundroom does not itself encrypt workspace audio at rest or protect it from every program/person with access to your Windows account. Protect the account and backups, stop unwanted capture, and revoke or stop the tablet link when finished. An optional hosted-generation service, when offered through your PLAiTE Pass account, is a separate website service with its own provider, job terms and privacy choices. Installing this local app does not submit local audio or buy credits. Any new analytics or other data use needs an accurate disclosure and any required choice before it is enabled. We will update this notice to match the released product. Local audio/project controls and rights under component licenses remain separate from any future membership. PLAiTE Arena and PLAiTE Pass website privacy https://plaitearena.com/privacy Information We Collect We collect information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, company or venue details, project notes, event preferences, and messages sent through our forms. If you join a PLAiTE Pass, event, reward, or game experience, we may collect lightweight participation details such as display name, QR join source, reward activity, message consent, event tags, and secure-link activity. We may also collect basic technical information such as browser type, device type, referring pages, timestamps, and security logs needed to operate and protect the site. How We Use Information We use information to respond to inquiries, operate PLAiTE Arena, support PLAiTE Pass experiences, provide secure links, manage rewards or event participation, improve our software, and protect against abuse. We may use contact information to send transactional messages, service updates, event details, reward notices, or other communications you request or consent to receive. Email And SMS Communications PLAiTE Technologies LLC provides and administers the PLAiTE Pass software and its SMS messaging program. If you separately provide a phone number and opt in, you agree to receive transactional SMS messages from PLAiTE Technologies LLC about secure Pass links, rewards, event reminders, and account or service updates. This does not authorize marketing texts from other businesses. SMS enrollment is optional. You can create, open and use your Pass and purchase separately offered products without providing a mobile number or agreeing to SMS. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of SMS does not prevent us from sending non-SMS transactional communications where permitted, such as email responses to a project inquiry. Mobile Information Sharing We do not sell mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information. We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties. We may share information with service providers that help us deliver communications, operate infrastructure, prevent fraud, or provide customer support. These providers may use the information only to perform services for us. Service Providers We may use service providers for hosting, analytics, email delivery, SMS delivery, security, forms, payment or billing support, and operational tooling. These providers may process information on our behalf under contractual, technical, or operational restrictions. Soundroom Device Connections And Studio Club When you choose to connect Soundroom to your verified Pass, the Windows app sends a product-specific hash of a Windows device identifier, a short-lived activation code and later a device credential to PLAiTE. We do not receive the raw Windows identifier through activation. The connection links the PC to the original purchase and, if separately purchased, its paid Studio Club appearance term. The app protects its saved connection credential using Windows per-user encryption. PLAiTE stores credential and activation-code hashes, the pseudonymous PC identifier, Pass/purchase associations and connection timestamps. Codes expire after ten minutes. You can disconnect a PC in your Pass; it stops receiving access updates when it next connects. A previously verified offline license can remain usable until reconnection. Paid Studio Club appearance claims expire within seven days or at the paid-term end, whichever comes first. Activation does not upload audio, recordings, projects or prompts. Studio Club billing uses Stripe, and transactional membership messages may include renewal reminders, confirmations and refund notices. Financial and connection history may be retained for operation, security, support, disputes and accounting. Contact us for access, correction or deletion assistance. Soundroom Hosted Generation When you choose hosted generation through your verified Pass, PLAiTE sends your description, optional lyrics, duration, seed and task identifier to Runware. Your existing recordings and local projects are not automatically uploaded. Do not include sensitive personal information in these inputs. Generated audio is stored privately through Cloudflare and delivered through the original verified Pass. PLAiTE redacts its processing copy of the submitted text after a delivered, failed or canceled request; unresolved requests retain it for reconciliation. Financial records, credit adjustments, request hashes and job history are retained for operation, security, disputes and accounting. Runware processes submitted data under its own terms and privacy policy at https://runware.ai/terms and https://runware.ai/privacy. Provider retention can differ from PLAiTE's processing-copy redaction. Save your own downloaded audio. Contact us for access, correction or deletion assistance; required financial and dispute records may be retained. Buying credits does not opt you into SMS or marketing messages. Retention And Security We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, legal obligations, dispute resolution, security, and business records. We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, but no internet or communication system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Your Choices You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. You may opt out of SMS by replying STOP. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link where available or contacting us.
