PLAiTE AFTER DARK Free PLAiTE Pass

A LOCAL STORY. A SHARED MISSION.

ZOMBIE HUNT

DEAD SIGNAL

Your city becomes the game.
Your crew becomes the story.

A hosted, cooperative experience made for real places. Head into the district with your phone, defend the Fort from a tablet, or follow every turn from the venue’s big screen.

HELP BRING IT TO LIFE / HALLOWEEN GOAL

Working hosted prototypes. Public events, dates and partners are still proposed. A Pass is not an event ticket.

NEW PORT RICHEY / A FICTIONAL AFTERMATHExisting game artwork · local landmarks reimagined

Four supply stops. One Fort. Recover what your crew needs. Keep the Fort standing until extraction.

EVERY ROLE COUNTS

HALLOWEEN 2026 / A GOAL WE CAN BUILD TOWARD

Your support makes the difference.

We’re working toward a first hosted Zombie Hunt pilot before Halloween. Players, performers and local hosts can help turn the possibility into a night this city remembers.

  1. Raise your hand.

Tell us you want to play, perform or host. Real interest helps shape the first event.

  2. Bring your people.

Share this page with your crew. Let them explore the game and choose how to take part.

  3. Help set the scene.

A local venue. A memorable character. A good crew. Every future event starts with people.

Something this local deserves to travel.

Send it to your crew. Share it on your feed. Let’s see who answers.

A proposed pilot, dependent on interest, hosts, staffing and approvals. No date or venue is confirmed.

THE GAME BEHIND THE TRAILER

Three views.
One shared outcome.

The action moves between the street and the room. Choose a role to see how you help.

FIELD CREW

Step into the story.

Follow the host’s route with your crew. Your phone carries the next objective, BEACON’s voice and the atmosphere. Stop at a supply point, scan its printed QR and send help back to the Fort.

  • A clear next objective
  • QR supply stops + story moments
  • Head back together for extraction

Interactive example below. Fictional teams and sample values; no active game is joined.

TRY A SHORT EXAMPLE

One supply run.
Everybody feels it.

The Fort needs scrap.

A field player follows the host’s directions to a supply stop. The captain’s priority appears on their phone.

The reimagined Hacienda under the Needle’s red warning light

A PLACE YOU KNOW. A WORLD YOU DON’T.

It wasn’t a virus.
It was a signal.

Black towers appeared. The first blast changed people. The survivors call them the Bound. Now the warning horn means one thing: find shelter.

The Dead Signal story uses familiar local imagery to make each mission feel close to home. This is fictional game artwork, not a real incident.

THE NEXT CHAPTERS

Bigger crowds.
A deeper game.

One new hosted prototype. Two proposed chapters. Public event dates and venues are still unconfirmed.

Fictional district map showing the world imagined for Supply Sprint01 / LARGE GROUPS

HOSTED PROTOTYPE

Supply Sprint

More crews. Bigger decisions.

Crews leave designated Forts for timed supply rounds. Choose a stop, recover provisions and decide what the home team needs next. Spectators follow team check-ins and the changing score.

  • TEAM ROUTES
  • SUPPLY ROUNDS
  • SPECTATOR STRATEGY
Inside the concept

Hosted prototype: four team Forts, supply pickups and deposits, and a shared spectator diagram. Optional GPS estimates appear only as recent team groups near host-set zones. Field and load validation are still pending.

PROPOSED GAME MODE

Play as the Bound

The signal has a role for you.

Take a signal-driven role with its own objectives. Draw attention, disrupt a supply plan or answer the Needle’s call while survivor crews try to complete their mission.

  • CHARACTER ROLES
  • SIGNAL OBJECTIVES
  • LIVE ENCOUNTERS
Inside the concept

Proposed: distinct Bound roles, host-directed encounters and clearly marked play zones. Live performers could bring these moments to life.

PROPOSED GAME MODE

Turf Wars

Every stop can change the story.

Competing crews contest approved checkpoints, protect supply routes and choose which district objectives to hold. A venue screen gives the crowd a reason to watch every decision.

  • CHECKPOINT CONTROL
  • CREW RIVALRIES
  • RETURNING CHAPTERS
Inside the concept

Proposed: timed control windows, team objectives and recurring story chapters. Rival scoring stays separate from the current cooperative Fort pilot.

Help shape this chapter

A real place. A hosted experience. Local actors and venues could turn an objective into an encounter. Optional AR or VR chapters could add another layer later; the current phone pilot needs no headset.

BEFORE YOU ANSWER THE CALL

A few useful answers.

Can we make this happen for Halloween?

That is the goal for 2026, not a confirmed launch. Registering your interest helps us understand demand and find local hosts and performers. Sharing the page can help more people discover it. A first event still depends on staffing, locations, approvals and a workable plan; no payment or ticket purchase is being requested here.

Is this a film, a game, or a live event?

The film sets the atmosphere. A working cooperative game connects phones, a Fort captain and a venue screen. A host sets up the session, places printed QR stops and explains the route. Public district events are proposed; no dates, locations or partner participation are confirmed here.

Are the teams fighting each other?

In the current pilot, both squads share one Fort and one victory. A squad earns credit for finding a supply stop first, but the supplies help everybody. Rival Bound teams and turf wars are separate ideas in development.

Do I have to walk around to take part?

No. Fort Crew is a full role at the home venue, with defenses to manage and supplies to spend. A tablet captain has additional team information. The venue screen also lets onlookers follow the story.

What do I need on my phone?

A browser and an internet connection for the hosted game. The host provides the join QR and the real route. Scan supply cards only after stopping safely. The current route is a list of host-provided directions, not turn-by-turn GPS navigation.

How do we win?

Recover the four supply stops and keep the Fort standing until extraction. Boards absorb attacks first; when they break, Fort health is at risk. Story difficulty introduces the game; harder settings add stronger attacks or riddles.

Does a Pass reserve a ticket or VIP place?

No. The optional free PLAiTE Pass is a separate public beta membership. A verified Pass can hold your free experience access, and you choose separately whether to hear from us. Zombie Hunt admission, special event badges and VIP access are not included or guaranteed.
